Default Batwing vs. RK

Getting closer to trading the Fatboy. Would I be dissapointed in not going with a batwing bike or Road Glide? I like the Road Kings but it seems more Glides are on the road.

I have had an Ultra with batwing, a softail, a low rider, etc. I now have a Road King and have no desire for another fairing. Nothing wrong with the fairing glides, great bikes but I just feel more like I am riding a Harley with the King. They are all good. It is just up to you.

The RKC you can just take off the windshield and it looks awesome. Tour or weather change slap the shield back on. Cant do that with a fixed fairing (well you can but it takes a lot longer)

since owning a fairing bike i would now go with a road king and have the dealer add an accessory batwing fairing into my loan. on in town rides during hot weather i would leave the batwing at home and enjoy the cool air. it would be nice if i could remove mine from my ultra on the 95 degree days. as im sure you hae read the 96 motor runs hot and the fairing dont help when your going stop light to stop light. (say an everyday trip back and forth to work)

I have the RKC with the DCC faring and a King TP, my next bike will be a UC, I never remove the faring or TP now. I will buy the UC and keep the RKC back in original config because its the best looking bike in the world.

Love the Road King Classic, but really wanted the tunes and extra wind protection. So I built what I wanted
