My local H-D&nbsp\\;dealer told me that they ship'em back to the factory for all repairs and to figure on a minimum charge of $200.00.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I was able to correct my problem and never had to ship it.&nbsp\\;

I take that the seat is on your '07 Ultra. If you installed it yourself theres a 1 year warranty and if you had the dealer install it there's a 2 year warranty.
