I must be missing something. The "rubber trim" on my windshield has no issues at all. Now for the brief (and I mean brief) time I had one of the Windsplitter on the bike (I like to call it the Windtunnel), the rubber was all over the place, looked like sh*t. Changed to the Windvest, and no problems at all.

+1, and pick up a Clearview SM windshield and you'll be good to go.

All the US HDs are perfect in every way.

I put the chrome trim on from Kury since I like chrome. Works for me.
Thanks, No offence noted..you might be right, Americans don't put up with cheap crap.

Default Black Metalic Trim

The company finally decided on another way to scoop some $$$ from your pockets...

There is a black metallic trim piece just like the chrome one I suppose:

Part # 57400150

Too bad its not carbon fibre...too easy I guess...

the chrome and black rim pieces HD sells will eat up the paint on your fairing. A bunch of the guys at roadglide.org swear by xcycletrim.com they have pieces for the windshield and the fairing. The guys over there who use it say it hasn't budged and there's no glue invovled....
