The new trim piece looks like a Honda piece.

I often change my windshield between the 9.5" and stock , for long trips.
So I must reuse the same rubber ( no shoe glue), start from the middle and
work my way out.

Chuck that stock windschield, Clearview is the answear.

I'd like to buy the trim but I don't want all that chrome on the front..I'd like to see someone sell painted ones,,,

Tip for N00bz...

Look at the date, before you respond to a thread thinking the OP is still subscribed. Of course, this isn't the oldest thread I've seen dug up, I seem to remember one or two from '05...

the chrome trim looks great, i got tired of the trim rubber coming off.

way to dig up an OLD thread! LOL!


my rubber trim piece isn't moving at all.... it's in the box with the stock 2010 windshield.
and I agree that the chrome trim looks like it belongs on a Goldwing, NOT on a Road Glide.....

Yeh, that trim looks a bit odd to me. Maybe if they had made it just a tad slimmer, it wouldn't look so gaudy...

My Clearview windshield was the best change I made to my 08 Road Glide.
I plan on going to Clearview for an upgrade windshield on my 11 EG.
