As with colors, pipes, and other accessories, make sure you check them out personally before taking the plunge.&nbsp\\; Observation:&nbsp\\; J &amp\\; M speaker upgrade only makes the noise louder than OEM.&nbsp\\; Hogtunes provides better separation between lows, mids, and highs.&nbsp\\; Much clearer IMHO.&nbsp\\; Have heard the JBLs and think they are good too.&nbsp\\; Add an amp and you're getting fuller sound and more control to contour.&nbsp\\; Some of this is governed by budget, obviously.&nbsp\\; For me Hogtunes.

Changing speakers will not make it louder, you need an amp to make a system louder and maintain a clean sound.

does upgrading just the front speaker to a HOG tune on stock radio make really much differance. not much BASS stock speakers.

Absolutely.

I would say about 20 percent louder at the top end, but 100 percent more clear. IMHO, the stock speakers go to crap at anything over two thirds volume. The hog tunes stay clean all the way up, and are a bit louder and fuller. Well worth the 80 bucks.
