I was&nbsp\\;attempting to remove ECU from my '04 Road King Custom so I could install V&amp\\;H Fuel Pac, only to find that the bolts holding the ECU in place would only spin and not back out.

Anyone run into this problem, and if so, how did you&nbsp\\;get around it?&nbsp\\;

I tried to drill a small hole and "pin" the nut in place so I could remove it, but no luck....

Center punch and drill the head off the bolt.&nbsp\\; Worked for me...

 

It happen to me too on my RKC 02. I finally bought a new base plate (70348-02). I cut the old base plate to get the thread bushing out.

Mine stripped also. Used wire ties to hold the fuel pak onto the ecu. It's covered anyway.
