Has anyone tried the Sundowner seat that's available for the 08 Street Glide? (page 401 in the HD catalog) It looks lower which is my concern. Is it lower than stock? Is it worth the price over the stock seat? Does it take away from the look of the bike?

 

Don't know about a Street Glide, but I put one on my Road Glide and it raised me up about an inch.&nbsp\\; The wife loves the passenger section over stock.

I just purchased one a week ago. I love the comfort!
It sits just a little lower and pushes you forward just a hair.
The thing is butt ugly. BUT for long trips I wouldnt be without!

 

I don't think it looks bad at all, well worth the $.&nbsp\\; Very comfortable.

 

On a Street Glide from the back, It does. IMHO. The side view is good

The wife said she wasn't ever going to ride two up with me, so I had a local guy recover and put a gel pad in my stock seat.

Doesn't look bad with the passenger back rest on,but after you feel the comfort you'll never take the seat off.I bought one in Feburary and just put it on last month because the stock two tone seat looked alot better then the sundowner,now the stock seat is in the closet.
