Default Buffetting on RK or Glide

I know you can adjust (cut down) a windshield but 'out of the box' do you get less buffetting issues with the batwing than the shield on a RK? I read that a lot of issues come from under the shield so would think the wing would be better, wondering what people who have ridden both think? thanks

I have three windshields one cut about two inches does it for me. I just bought a bat wing and will let you know in about a month. I have the cut down version for sale in classified.

I traded my Road ing on an EGC and there is major difference in the buffeting.&nbsp\\; The fairing is great.

My buffetting was very bad with just the stock shield on my king. It was coming from the outside between the shield and the tank. I put on the chrome wind deflectors (lowers) and that made all the difference in the world![/align]

If we are talking about body buffeting, the bat-wing is the way to go. If you are talking about steering buffeting within proximity of a truck, there isn't much difference between my Ultra and STDSE2 with the windshield.

Had the stock windshield on my 06 RK Police. Just switched to the quadzilla fairing and you wouldn't believe the difference. Biggest difference is on 2 lane hiways when a semi is coming the other direction. The fairing is great!

I'm on a loaner RG now. The Ultrat is MUCH MIUCH better than the RG for blocking the wind.
