WD 40, Easy Off, mineral spirits, try them all.&nbsp\\; After you soften them up with one of the solvents,
your fingernail will get most of the residual off.&nbsp\\; For the tough spots a plastic scraper of ultrafine steel wool
can be used carefully.

Generally, lighter fluid (charcoal or Zippo type), or any solvent with M.E.K. or toluene. Also consider WD-40.
Recommend using a microfiber cloth, never steel wool or anything else that even comes close to being abrasive. Let the solvents to the work. Just be patient, and it'll come off.
