Not likely if experience is any indication. When they went from a 130 rear in 04 to a 140 there was no change I am aware of for the 130. I went with the 140 for more patch on the road but I have not seen that extra 2500 miles the 140 is suppose to allow. Time will tell.

Why does everyone post that late model baggers come with a 140 to replace the earlier 130? It's not true. \\; Harley went with an MU85 16 not a 140m.m. tire. \\; They are two different sizes, just load rated the same. \\; The MU 85 is some 6m.m. wider than the 140, and in my experience, does wear better than the 130.

What does that mean. The new tire. The "09" is a different tire but, they still make a tire for the older bikes. Does the "09" have a different tire? I know it is a different size. Do you have to have the "new" design. Does it have to be dunlap? How would anyone else know what Dunlap has in mind. Does someone on this site work there?
