Default Rear tire width

Hey, anyone:

The 09 Touring bikes have a 180mm rear tire. I just bought an 08 Street Glide and want to plump up the rear tire.

How big can you go without mods to swingarm, etc.? Also, do you have to go bigger in the front to keep the riding performance good? If so, same question on the front.

Thanks.

blueflht has it, 160 on a 4.25inch wheel, may need to trim belt guard a little.&nbsp\\; I have been running this way for 10000 miles with no issues
