Default Lyndall Brake Pads Squeek

I got about 600 miles on my Lyndall front brake pads and today the right side pads started to give this gawd awfull squeak at speeds below 35mph. I noticed that if I just pull the brake lever back just a hair, the squeak would stop somewhat but I don't wanna be doing that. When I got home tonite, I bled the line on that side. No change. My next step is to remove the pads but then what? Anyone have this happen with new Lyndalls?

What kind of shape are your rotors in?&nbsp\\; If you are gonna take the wheel off, get the rotors turned or replace them.&nbsp\\; I have the Z Pads and they are quite as a mouse.

My rear brake Lyndalls squeak at slow speed. I've heard you need to clean the caliper pistons. Dust gets in there and angles the pad as it engages the rotor. Haven't dug into my rear brake yet to test the process.

You might try cleaning the spring that is up in the top of the caliper. If that gets jammed up with brake dust it will cause a squeak.

Brake squeal is usually caused by stuck springs or pistons that don't return properly. If you have a pad lightly brushing a disc (rotor?) it will get hot as you ride, which cab cause the piston to stick and can weken the springs. A quick caliper re-build with anti-seize lubricant usually does the trick. I always let my bike shop do my brakes, but only because I'm not too familiar with them yet - the Trooper does the same sometimes and this is the fix. Don't know if this applies or helps...

My&nbsp\\;Lyndalls squealed at&nbsp\\;low speeds too. I pulled them back off and put&nbsp\\;anti-squeal compound&nbsp\\;on the back-side of the pads. Problem solved.

Mine also squeals, cleaned calipers 3 times still bad. Dealer swapped rotors side to side&nbsp\\; ( Removed 90% but still there)and claims it's also do to the pads. Costs me a lot of money and ended up with a squeal and may have to get another set of pads.
