Default Polished rotors

I want to put polished Rotors on my 2008 ABS Street Glide.&nbsp\\; Dealer tells me part number 41830-05 and 41831-05 wont work on my bike as the 2008 Street Glide has a heat expansion rivet in it that the polished rotors don't have.&nbsp\\; Can I get you thought and opinions on this?

Just take off your existing rotors and get them polished. It's also cheaper that way.

HD doesn't have polished for the brembo's yet. You could try aftermarket

I would like to know why someone would spend $79 to polish a rotor when the rotors are heavy and not true floaters.

You could upgrade to real floating 300 mm rotors with Aluminum carriers (your color) with real butons &amp\\; springs.

When ya buy them for your 08 make sure they are in fact for your 08.They should be about an inch bigger in diameter than pre 08 rotors.
