my wife and i spent 6 days on the road in the Texas Hill country in june .Not a cloud in the sky 98-100 everyday except for the day we headed home. once we crossed I-10 headed south we had rain which we road alot of miss it. The bad thing about living on the Texas coast is if ride you will get wet. I ride to work everyday as long as it ain't raining when I leave...........
My RG is in the shop now for the factory eng. reman. and S/E 6 sp. install. Guess you can say I'm definately not a fair weather rider and the bike is no garage queen. It spends more time dirty than clean. The bike has just short of 120,000 miles on the clock. Ridin in different types of weather is just \\;something that comes with the territory. Ride Safe &\\; Ride Often.[sm=biker2.gif]
I know a few bros who will not ride in the rain, some because they do not want to get their bikes dirty, others because they are afraid of other traffic.Thay are missing a lot of riding this season because we are having rain almost every day this year.
I ride everyday, 12,000 in the last 4 months. \\; Sometimes the biz requires me to drive the cage, but I always go home to get the bike as soon as I can.
Only when it's dry if I get caught in the rain that's okay but I don't follow the weather nor let weather reports that say a chance of rain ruin my day.
Bad weather is just another part of ridin, as some \\;have said, "it comes with the territory."

Now if you ain't ridin because your scared your scoot will get dirty, your one of those that'll never undestand.
