With touring bikes do most run&nbsp\\;with the stock engine - or do most do an upgrade

Mine are certainly upgraded, just because when I want to pass,do not need any concern about having enough grunt to get around.

Most of the upgrades I've seen are pipes, fuel management, air box.&nbsp\\; I was not satisfied with that so I went to a 107 with great torque.&nbsp\\; I have no problem at all 2up and enjoy the bike even more.&nbsp\\; I am certain that the stock bike will serve you well.&nbsp\\; It's all a matter of preference and wallet.

The only upgrade my '07 RKC has is the Stage 1 with pipes, fuel mgmt and a/c.&nbsp\\; It has plenty of power/torque to ride anywhere even two-up.

Mines older a 96 and I wanted more grunt as stated so a cam, fuel mgt and pipes helped her get around a little easier. I don't pull a 19' boat, but it's a thought. Depends on how you ride and how much you want to spend.

As part of ordering my 2008 I got the 103" Stage 1 with pipes, a SERT and premium oil cooler.
