Default 2009 180mm tire, what ya think??

I was checking out the 09 180mm tire and was wondering how it's going to affect handling , especially in the rain? My thought&nbsp\\; is that the older narrow tire would be much better in the rain because it can cut through to the pavement easier.

Doubt that it'd affect it significantly, but it may well give ya better tire life.

I agree,&nbsp\\;I bet handling wont be an issue.&nbsp\\; But I wonder about tire life.&nbsp\\; I don't know the difference between the 180 and the 200.&nbsp\\; My Dad has an '07 Fatboy with a 200 that is about gone at 5000 miles.&nbsp\\;

That's a good point about tire life, but it will be interesting to see what people think when there's a few on the road.

Remember that yer Dad's bike is usin'&nbsp\\;a sport compound. Touring compounds are significantly harder, which aids in tire life.

I don't care about all the speculation! I'm going to love it. Ordering my 09 Ultra Classic next month!
