Default 08 Road King Classic Seat

I have a 08 Road King Classic, I am 6'6" tall and need to change my stock seat for a more comfortable one. I had a 99 RK and had the Harley Tallboy seat on it, but the Tallboy seat on the 08 is much different and not very comfortable. I have tried a Mustang seat, sits me to far forward, several Harley seat, no luck there. Has any on tried the Road Sofa from Saddleman for the 08's? Any one got any suggestions?

Check out Danny Gray seats, http://www.dannygray.com/StandardSeats.asp
I have a Big Seat and it sets me back and also a bit lower. Pricey but very comfortable. I recommend getting their "gel" layer insert as well, absorbs engine vibration.

I purchased a used 08 seat on Ebay and took it to&nbsp\\;a local upholstery shop that is known for their quality work on cars and motorcycle seats.&nbsp\\; He cut out the plastic piece that formed the opening for the rider backrest and moved the vertical portion back a couple inches.&nbsp\\; He used treated plywood to rebuild the pan on the cutout area and cut the foam to fit.&nbsp\\; I had a gel pad my wife was no longer using for horses and he added it to the seat, made a new cover and it is great!&nbsp\\; Still enough room on the bitch seat also.&nbsp\\; Paid him $150, paid the guy on ebay $135 for the seat and a leftover gel pad.&nbsp\\; Great deal!&nbsp\\; I did have to remove the backrest "holder" from under the seat (2 bolts)

forgot to say, I am 6'4" and have the same problem as roadkingmonkey.&nbsp\\; Actually had a seat guy in Myrtle beach bike week laugh at me and say I was just too big for the bike.&nbsp\\; My reply was, "what bike am i not too big for?". Needless to say he didn't get my business!
