&nbsp\\;I have the Rush Slip on Pipes on mine with the Ness Big Sucker Intake and going to install the VH Fuel Pack as well. The Pipes are Great, not way Loud but have a Nice Rumble, exactly what I was Looking for.

V&amp\\;H Ovals - sound great - not to loud and still can here radio.. can make them bark if go hard on the throttle... RH would be my 2nd choice.

Rineharts with the Big City Thunder Monster baffels on my SG. I think these are the best sounding pipes out there really deep and I think they are only loud when you get on it. Everyone here said they are too loud for them but to me it seems that they throw the sound farther back than the stock pipes. I am really happy with them. Really deep rumble.

Default RE: touring exhaust

I did a ton of research on this one. Plus, I have put on a number of pipe configs on past tourers.

I have always used Vance & Hines headers. One time with Python tips and H-D Race Tuner/SEII air cleaner. Nice sound but no "bite."

I had a Road King Custom with V&H dresser duals and turndown tips with the Power Commander. and SEII air cleaner. Mellower, but good rumble.

Last week I took delivery on an '08 Street Glide with Bub 7s, the H-D Race Tuner and the H-D Heavy Breather air cleaner. Chose this setup over Rineharts, Bub Brouhards, V&H, D&D Fat Cat and Thunderheaders. Listened to them all on Touring bikes and all had pros and cons regarding sound and power.

Just one man's opinion, but this is the best sounding, best performing setup I have had. Some will argue that I have less low-end torque. Others might say they are too loud. The important thing is to listen to as many configurations as you can and READ THE FORUMS!

Hope I was a little helpful. Good luck and ride safe.
