Default If buying new, 08 or 09?

I am very happy with my 02 RKC, but ABS is enough for me to at least look. There are still plenty of new 08s out there, but should I go ahead and&nbsp\\;get the latest and greatest? Beary

It appears the 09s are 30 lbs heavier than the 08s with the same number of ponies and torque....

I'm sure that new frame is cheaper for HD to manufacture, but 30lbs?

I'm looking to move to an Ultra Classic. Same issue. 08 or 09. I've got my eye on an 08 left over. If the deal is right I may jump. If it's gone or I can't get a deal then 09 wins. Just the colors on the web site for the 09's don't do much for me. I guess you got to see them on the floor. In the mean time I'll keep riding my 03.

the abs is not worth the heat you will not be happy with the 96 heat look at all the changes due to heat since 07 the 88 5 speed is a much better combo and yes i have an 07 96 but im not gonna lie to someone to satisfy my own ego the 96 6 speed is a big mistake.

If You have the $$$ then go for the 09. Why settle for an 08 when they made some changes to the 09 that are pretty nice. Now I'm with you on the color options for 09. But I would get the White Gold Pearl / Pewter Pearl combo if I had to choose one.

Yes, after I read the question, I realized it was a stupid question. It should have read, how much discount would it take to buy the&nbsp\\;08?

Funny cause the 08 I'm eyeing is the brother to yours. Nice ride.

I always want bigger and better but I saw an 08 for couple hundred bucks over basic MSRP and mine came with spokes and ABS, the price was right so I took it. Im sure the 09s are nice but money is money!
