Default Front brake driving nutts!!!

Okay I have 2000 ultra,the freaking front brake is driving me crazy!! I changed all the old fluid out,put in fresh DOT 5,cleaned the calipers bled out real good i think and heres the problem. I can pump up the brake and it will hold as long as it stands there,I get on it and move it forward or backwards a few feet ad the brake lever sinks to the grip. I can stop pump it up and as long as its standing still it holds,I move and it sinks to the grip. I am going nutts trying to figure out whats wrong.one person said might have to be mighty vac "ed out any ideas?

Did you have the this problem before you changed the fluid? If no, then you might still have air in the system.&nbsp\\;

Okay I said something to mechanic at HD dealership about a bent rotor and he said no. Now I think my rotor is bent because has wear on spot on it wear it rubs and then doesn't. Brake pads are wore but I don't think anyways that could add to the problem. Bent rotor to me makes sense,because brakes fail only when the bike moves. A bent rotor would shove the calipers out on a high spot right?

Check the master cylinder.&nbsp\\;If you get&nbsp\\;a solid brake lever on the first squeeze, let up on&nbsp\\;the lever&nbsp\\;just a little.&nbsp\\;If it bleeds down, the master cylinder may be the culprit. If you have to pump it up to get a solid lever, it's got to be air in the lines.

Put a&nbsp\\;Ty&nbsp\\;Rap over the brake lever and let it sit overnight.
If that doesn't help, you can replace the O-rings
in the master cylinder (worked for me)
Even a very tiny airleak can cause these problems.
&nbsp\\;
Good luck,
Peter
