Default billit shifter arms

i am replacing the stock shift lever bike came with only toe shifter and chrome spacer with heel toe levers has a big rubber spacer that goes up against motor wondering if there is supposed to be some other type of spacers when using both heel toe shifter thanx in advance

Not sure which bike you have. Here's what happened to me. As soon as I got my Ultra, the shift lever kept coming loose. No one could figure out why. It was tight, then it came loose. I had to cut down the rubber bushing. You want to make sure the shift lever rides 100% on the corrugated area on the rod into tranny. You may need to cut it down, but you need to look at it close. Usually when eliminating the heel shifter, the toe shifter is not relocated. Look at yours carefully, Hope this helps, Good Luck, Gene

HD has a special spacer you use if you remove the heel shift arm.

HD makes a spacer and a cap if you dont want to move it out.
