Default fairing on a road king

Alright,
&nbsp\\;
so i know someone has got to have used an ultra batwing&nbsp\\;on their RK without buying a 1,000 prebuilt thing.&nbsp\\; Can I see some pics of your setup?&nbsp\\; I saw a sig pic once of someone that mounted an outter to a QD windshield that looked pretty slick.&nbsp\\; Can I run the inner fairing? what did you fill the inner fairing with if you used it? will the Ultra wiring harness plug into the RK one somewhere to run all the gauges?&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
I'm so full of questions!!!
&nbsp\\;
I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to invest in a fairing or if i should just wait until i graduate college and buy a winged bike
&nbsp\\;
thanks for the help,

BM

By the time you get a Ultra Fairing to fit will all the bells you going to spend more then going with an aftermarket fairing. Friend put a DragonFly on his RK at the Hollister Rally and it Looked &amp\\; Fit Great around $2500.00. And thats a bunch cheaper then buying a New Bike.

I have about $1200 into my Ultra Fairing set up on my king. Its not a quick disconnect, but it sure does look pretty (IMHO) Best part is, based on the stereo components/speakers and amp, It sounds fantastic and it really customises the King.

ctmedic did you remove the king nacelle? if you did didnt you just make your king an electraglide? seems a little extreme when a standard is about 3g's cheaper. just my humble observation
