Yeah I kind of agree, CB is goofy and lowers... well chaps do me fine. The problem is my FLHRC is going to cost more anyway.

My dealer is trying to convince me to buy the ultra insted of a street glide.
Personally I will go for the sg for the looks and feel!Try them both before You buy!

ORIGINAL: hotshot

Before I bought my ultra, i talked to several standard riders, they said they wished they had bought the ultra to begin with, as they have been trying to change their standard into an ultra at a lot more cost.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; so i chose the ultra.
&nbsp\\;
I started with a standard (1999 = $13,025, an ultra was $19,000+ at the time).&nbsp\\; My standard is now the equivalent of a FLHTC (Classic) minus the black and chrome engine with some additional accessories (performance and otherwise).&nbsp\\; And I'm still in for a total cost less than the Classic was in 1999.&nbsp\\; And couple thousand $ less than the ultra.&nbsp\\; for me it was about what I could afford at the time, and my annual budget to add to it later.&nbsp\\; When paying cash for bikes, it's about "what can I buy now, or what can I buy later" - I went with the "now"
