Default Fuel can

I wanna mount a fuel can where a trailer hitch would go on my FLHTC. Any ideas???

Get a receiver style hitch and build your own tray\\mount for the can.
Had one on the GW to hold Ice Chest.

Bad idea, IMO - wouldn't take much of an impact ta ruin yer entire day.

why not just put a couple of MSR fuel bottles (red ones used for camping stove fuel) in your gearor put a water bottle holder on your bag guards and slide the fuel bottles in there. Fuel bottles come in various sizes. A couple of liters would probably get you to a nearby gas station on a road trip.

are the lids secure? hate to have one vibrate open on a trip and make a mess[]

They're made for backpacking, mountaineering, and other abuse. They should hold up. Try them at a nearby outdoor gear store.

They have a o-ring seal an' integral pressure vent that reliefs as ya open it.
