Sounds like lifters. Mine has done the same thing in the past, installed new set of Fueling lifters.

damn forum it is hard to reply on, my noise sounds a lil like a messed up cam bearing, but it goes away and is normal, its only when the bike has sat for at least 8 hours then it reappears, whats weird bike only has 5000 miles, was yours similar or was the noise always there? any thing I can do to check it out? Thanks I appreciate your time.

I still can't believe that with only 5000 miles I'm getting engine noises, I'm wondering if the compensating sprocket being loose could make noise on cold start ups but then again why would it go away when warm?
