Leathers can be a very good idea in the Black Hills at night.

Incredible riding around sturgis this time of year.
Spearfish canyon to Deadwood, Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Needles Highway, Custer national Park, Devil's tower.
All incredible rides through some beautiful country.

Anybody out there with know how a ride out in the direction of Sturgis would be this time of year.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Looking at leaving next Thurs for 10 day road trip.
&nbsp\\;
Expect ANYTHING..&nbsp\\; About 5 years ago it was actually cold.&nbsp\\; Most years you'll see 100 degrees, later, rain.&nbsp\\; Three years ago it rained all the way home and was cool.
&nbsp\\;
That said I rode up from Colorado through Wyoming (U.S. 85) Friday and back Saturday.&nbsp\\; It was the best weather ever.&nbsp\\; Not too hot and not much wind in Wyoming, honest, really, it wasn't windy in Wyomimg.&nbsp\\; I know, nobody believes that.
&nbsp\\;
Be careful during the rally, more idiots who don't know how to ride, squirrelling around causing havoc, than anyone could believe.&nbsp\\; Some clown on a Road King heading away from Deadwood couldn't hold his line and nearly head-on'd me three years ago.&nbsp\\; He was completely in my oncoming lane.&nbsp\\; I had to go clear to the shoulder to miss him!
