Default Sealing Laced Wheels

I understand there is a company in California call Wheel Works that will seal laced wheels to allow you to go tubeless.&nbsp\\; Has anyone tried this or have any advice.&nbsp\\; Thanks

If the product they are using is PRC, it will work perfectly. Perfect product for this application.

I've had 2 sets of laced wheels that were sealed. My old set was from American Wire Wheel, and my current set is from DNA. Never worked with Wheel Works, but the sealed laced wheels I've had have been perfect. Put many miles on them, and I can have piece of mind that I can plug them and keep riding if I need to.

Wheel works are great guys to deal with. I wound up doing it myself used locktight brand urathane calking, and metal&nbsp\\;valve stems from discount tire chrome ones. Worked great no leaks and for insurance put in ride on sealant in both tires. 1000 miles so far no problems.

I didn't know if it would be worth the trouble.&nbsp\\; I've only been stranded once because of a tube, but being able to plug a tire would be nice.&nbsp\\;

I ran a set of Hallcraft Wheels Texas Big Spokes that were sealed with a black plastic around the inside of the rim&nbsp\\;on my Hot Rod Fat Boy for three years.&nbsp\\;Worked perfect tubless.&nbsp\\; The rear hub cracked at the spoke holes, but they never leaked!
