OH AND THEY TOLD ME THAT ONCE YOU PUT SYNTHETIC IN AN ENGINE YOU CAN NEVER SWITCH BACK IS THAT TRUE? GUY THERE CLAIMED HE USED TO WORK IN SERVICE AT HD - MAYBE HE LEARNED TO SELL WHAT THEY HAD INSTEAD OF WHAT YOU ASK FOR?
You can do better with AMSOIL or Mobil 1. As for not being able to switch.... complete and utter BS!! You can go back and forth between the 2 at every change if you wanted to
In the early days of synthetic oil, they did not mix with mineral oil - they colored the oil green (Duchams oil - for the UK guys). These days all oils need to meet specific standards which dictate they must mix without degrading etc.
As for the choice, get Amsoil if you can.lots of threads about how good it is.
