Carnauba wax.&nbsp\\; Had some deep scratches I took out with rubbing compound (which leaves swirl) then followed up with a good dose of carnauba wax.
&nbsp\\;
Also works to clean up the scuff marks my chaps make on the tank near the seat.

Look in the detaling section of the forum for a topic called "anyone interested in a course in detailing?".&nbsp\\; From wat I can gather from my research, the only way to really REMOVE swirls is with a DA machine and good product and process.&nbsp\\; A clay bar is for impurities in the paint, not swirls, from what I understand.

I'd highly recommend taking the swirls out before you wax over them. In direct sunlight you'll likely see 'em.

Yes clay won't remove swirls, polish will.

crystal glo is liquid plastic.&nbsp\\; Fills in the swirls, makes them invisible.&nbsp\\; Better than wax, IMHO

True, the clay bar is for removing over-spray, impurities on paint etc... I've got 35 years in the Automotive aftermarket ( I sell what your talking about ). Try the Eagle 1 part # 2081616, its my favorite....and my 2 cents
