Combo Tach\\Speedo are JUNK. They have always made a AFTERMARKET mini tach for all HDs.

EFI has nothing to do with it,it runs off engine spark.It'll work.

 

I think Harley even has a combo tach out for earlier model road kings. I can't vouch for '97 but the have one to fit my '01

 

I have a 2005 RKC and I have the speed/tach combo and I have no issues.

 

It'll work fine, had one my RK for 7 years, just took it off and sold it to put the Bat Wing on.&nbsp\\; EFI has nothing to do with it. &nbsp\\;
