Yall, Been thinking about moving to a Classic/Ultra. Payed a visit to the local dealer. Their deal on the first go-round was $21,795 for a two-tone 08 Ultra with cast wheels, ABS, and security system.

 

MoCos site says msrp for this bike is 23,140. Seems like a good deal. But, they have 10 Ultras sitting on the floor, and the 09s will coming in the next couple weeks.

 

Do you think they can do better? My gut says they can. I've read about some good deals that members here have gotten lately. What do you think? Thanks!

 

i got my 2 tone w/ wires no abs for 20k. abs add about 800 wheels add 450. since the 09's are around the corner, you may be able to do wonders.

I would say that is a good deal. The ABS &amp\\; Security is an add on option. The cast wheels are stock and are not an add on expense.

 

Last week when I bought my Ultra, it was $21,600.00 which included freight, set up and security.&nbsp\\; Tax and license was extra.&nbsp\\; It's an '08 model.

 

Was on a recent road trip and stopped at a number of HD dealers, 5-6, on the way. As I was searching our a Tshirt in each stop I also looked at bike prices.

At each dealer I stopped at I was able to find a Vivid Black Ultra with Sec and ABS. Prices ranged from $22,695 to low of $21,250. I agree though with 09's right around the corner you should be able to get an 08 Ultra for around $20K+/- $500

here in Boise, the dealer is advertising '08s for $19k, probably trying to get rid of them before the '09s hit the floor.

 

I paid about 24,500.00 out the door three days ago in Seattle for a white 08 UC. THe only "extras" I got was free labor on a rider backrest install and an extra headset. BTW: 2 new HD headsets for sale. Going to go with throat mics on our Motorola Talkabout radios for an intercom setup. PM me for a great deal.
