What's broken with it?////

 

I've given up trying to post even though I didn't post much in the first place.&nbsp\\; I guess eventually someone will fix it or someone else will kick off another forum elsewhere that does work and everyone will migrate over there.

I just read the sticky and I don't see anything different than what was said weeks ago. [sm=dontgetit.gif]

 

The forum has been hit by a malicious hacker and they're "working on it." Terry is one of the admins and is as distraut about this as we are, but it's solely in the hands of the IT people. The problem is loading new software without destroying the databases (messages, member lists, etc.). Frankly, I don't understand why (1) it takes two months to fix a software problem, even one this difficult, and (2) we can't get more detailed updates on what's going on. Continued...

And of course they have backups to fix the problem...

 

They're apparently trying to load new software to upgrade the forum, which is causing problems in transferring the databases. Don't ask me, as I'm sure I don't know, and they're not telling us much.
