I ended up gettting a stock road glide 06-07 \\;\\\\\\;(gel) seat for my street glide after sitting on a friends ultra with the sale seat. Very comfortable

Everyone's butt is different. I have had great success with Corbin on 4 different bikes, and hated the Mustang seat I had. The Mustang was way worse than stock for me. Now that I have a 2007 Ultra though I have absolutely no problem with the stock seat. I can ride all day on it with out any problems or discomfort... go figure.
It's a tough thing to do, but you have to find the seat that's right for you.

RE: After market seat for Ultra...
I tried the stock seat on my Ultra for a month, but I was just too cramped. Put the Tallboy on, and rode it for a year. Position wise, it felt great, but my *** got numb after 3 or 4 hours. Hard to ride all day. I called Corbin and had them make a Tallboy seat for me, designed to move me back and up. Took em about 6 weeks. I LOVE it! Best mod I've ever made. I had a Mustang on my previous bike, and it just did not work at all for me, but most people love them.

I've always said the first thing to to to your bike should be for fit and comfort. Once you get that worked out, then go for the performance and chrome.
