RE: EG Std. or Street Glide
Opinions, opinions....Both are good! EGS doesn't have any chrome on the engine ( primary, cam cover, trans covers (2),tappet covers, upper &\\; lower valve covers. No radio, minus gauges etc...you weigh the options, and the SG comes out on top! Plus cool styling, lowered, led light on rear fender etc....EGS, you'll probably add the chrome, radio etc...and come up with the same price. My best friend did the same...upgraded and wishes he had bought the SG...my 2 cents.
Good luck!

True on best value. But the SG is in a class by itself. I never liked the powder coated engine. Why buy a bike without a stereo?

NO- go with the EG CLASSIC and remove the tourpak - best value of all!

RE: EG Std. or Street Glide
Of the 2 bikes mentioned I would have to say go with the SG. But as a couple of others pointed out the best bang for the $$$$ is the Electra Glide Classic and make the tourpack detachable. I was going to get my 4th EGC when the dealer offered me an Ultra Classic for only $800.00 more so I couldn't pass that deal up.
