it seems i can never find the right gear on the 96, 4th gear at 55mph rpm 3000, 5th gear at 55 rpm are 2200 only one that seems right is 6th gear at 70 mph rpms are 2500 do others feel the same?

That the problem your skipping 6th and going straight to 7th gear.

 

I agree the 6 speed takes some getting used to.&nbsp\\; 6th is useless at &lt\\; 70 MPH.

who rides under 70 on the hwy anyway? I love that 6th gear.

 

Freind of mine&nbsp\\; complaines about heres at 45 coming down the canyon what ever gear ones to low the&nbsp\\;next is to high.&nbsp\\;
