RE: Removed the tour pak &
well my docking posts only lasted til the 3rd time I removed my tour-pak, then the black plastic bushing fell apart. Someone mentioned the aluminum replacement mounting posts but I cant find them anywhere. Could anyone please tell me where to get these aluminum posts?? thanks

Contact Bob @ gilbos440rt@bellsouth.net, he makes the FMJ bushings for the QD tour pak and sissy bar.

I just unbolted mine and took it off. When I put it back on I don't think I'll be in the middle of robbing a bank or anything so I won't be in a big hurry to get it done. For almost 4 bills, I'll just take my time swapping it back and forth.
Besides, the chicks in Austin liked leaning back on the back rest of the tour pak with there arms resting on top of the speaker pods allowing them to......well, they just found it more comfy.
To each his own though, the quick detach is cool too.
