I just did mine by myself with Amsoil for around $75.&nbsp\\; Did all the checklist in the maual and had a priceless time doing it, well until the wife busted one of the used milk jugs of old oil open all over the garage floor!![:@]&nbsp\\; Bryan

 

Is it necessary to let the dealer do this( for the warranty)? My bike is ready for the 5000 service and my dealer gets 250 I think. I was a sucker and bought the extra warranty, and I don't want to jepordize anything. Whats involved?

 

ya'all got charged alot for basically a 3 hole oil change

 

On the new bikes the manual does not even call for changing all three holes, just the engine oil and filter. Do it yourself for under a hundred bucks and, like someone said, get to know your ride.
