my indy checked and tightened the sproket nut, but i still get a grinding noise coming from the what seems like the front of the primary...it only happens when i roll the bike into a certain position...if i roll forward or back it can make it go away, if i keep rolling the noise comes around again...only in neutral, if i put her in 1st no noise...hmmm...

 

That front bearing may be bad, and youre only getting the noise in neutral because the bearing is "unloaded". When in gear there is a preload however slight. How many miles on the engine?

 

where exaclty is this bearing?...is it hard to replace a/o repack?
