Default Another decel popping question

Is it always a leaky exhaust or could it be a bad dyno tune? Not real happy with the sert and the rineharts. Every time I decel it poppsuntil I give it gas. At times it boarders on a gun shot sound.

Many guys talk about decel popping being caused by a lean condition. I think it is often the opposite. Too much fuel which ignites in the exhaust otherwise known as a backfire. That is what yours is doing IMO. BTW, a SERT tune is only as good as the tuner who did it. I am very happy with mine.

its not always leaky exhaust its usually a bad tune. also alot of decel popping can cause the blade in your fuel inj to get bent and cause the 02 sensors to take false readings ( so i have been told ) it's more than likely a bad tune.
