First go to your salesperson tell them you should get a 20% discount on some parts because he did not bother fitting you to your bike.&nbsp\\;Try Profile low touring shocksa reach seat&amp\\; a good pair of thick soled shoes. If that does not work then go with the blocks nailed to your shoes&nbsp\\;

The Reach seat is a good option. It it drops the seat height about 1/2" and moves you forward about the same.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; It also allows your legs to be closer together, which helps more than I thought it would.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; They also have a lowering kit for the RK that lowers the bike 2". I did both on mine and have not noticed any negative aspects of the ride.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Ride safe

I was in a similiar situation, but good riding boots and just getting used to it made all the difference to me.&nbsp\\; I have ridden others with lowered suspensions and modded or reach seats. &nbsp\\; lowering compromises suspension travel. &nbsp\\; Seats work well with little ill side effects so long as you're comfortable.

sportoking,
Do you ride two up with your lowering kit and what was the name of it?&nbsp\\; I am not a novice bike rider, but this RK is a big step up from the honda shadow spirit 750 I traded it for.

Thanks cue

I am willing to change the seat,&nbsp\\; what would be the best option?&nbsp\\; Buy an aftermarket seat or send the seat to mean city cycles.&nbsp\\; I want what is most comfortable and achieves my goal.

Thanks for all the input.

New seat is your best- and least expensive- option.

Hey Guy
&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&n bsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Check these guys out. I had the same problem and they rebuilt my shocks for me. What a difference in my stance and the bike handles great. http://bitchinbaggers.com/

Seat would be the first and foremost. In a combo to that would be an extended heel boot.
