I've got flames!

I've got flames!
So yesterday, I finally got around to installing the Big Sucker air cleaner on my bike. I installed the Wild Pig slip-ons a week ago. After I got everything back on and tweaked the idle mixture screw a bit (stock CV carb), I went out for a ride. The bike seems to run great. It pulls hard and there aren't any flat spots or hiccups during acceleration. A little pop here and there on hard decel, but not a big deal. However, I happened to notice that it shoots blue flames out when that happens... the higher the rpms, the bigger the flames. Plugs appear to be ok... a little dark, but not dripping wet or anything. And when I took my finger and swabbed the inside of the pipes, there was some black soot.
I haven't done a mileage test yet.
So, should I be worried? The bike seems to run awesome otherwise. No problems with starting or idling either. If it's just a little rich on overrun, I'm tempted to leave it alone.
Oh, yeah, it was jetted by the previous owner, but I haven't pulled the carb off yet, so I don't know what jets he put in or it still has the stock needle.

RE: I've got flames!
Hi
The idle screw only adjusts idle mix. Your high speed circuit (other screw) is everything else except idle. The plug reading is pretty much useless unless you run it up hard through all the gears and cut the ignition, roll to a stop and read the plugs. What your reading on those plugs is what the engine was last doing i.e. idling. Any popping on accel is indicative of a lean condition. I don't think ur done yet unless those plugs were read after a "ignition chop".

He said popping on hard DECEL, which is the same problem I have on my 05 EGclassic with K&\\;N filter, v&\\;h true duals and Rush slipons.

I dont know if mine shoots flames or not but I imagine it does
