On my way to work, stopped raining, was early so I decided to go for a cruise on some back road I hadn't explored yet. Came up on this **** on the road and there was a turn that should have been marked. Tried to slow down, but I just slid into a yard and went down. We both did a nose dive.

Sorry to hear about the crash, but glad you're ok.&nbsp\\; Riding unfamiliar roads can yield some tragic results.&nbsp\\; Been close...but I'm really into slowing down if I haven't been there before.&nbsp\\; Good luck on the fixup.&nbsp\\; CCRyder

Ditto on above...I always try to assume that cow got loose out of the pasture and is just over the blind ****.&nbsp\\; Last Sunday wife and I had our first close one, typical everyone has experienced,&nbsp\\;cage comes flying up to stop sign on county road and get ready for them to&nbsp\\;blow thru&nbsp\\;stop, well she did make the stop, then pulled out right in front of us, had it not been for the already slow down, well it wouldn't have been good.&nbsp\\; Really makes your *** tight enough to sharpen pencils, told wife can't let it eat you up or you'll never get back on, just try to stay prepared.

Glad you're OK and bikes can always be repaired or replaced but don't count on anything or anyone marking any turns but your self and your riding skills.&nbsp\\;Sight distance and speed - they go together.
