Default Road Sofa Seat,anybody have one

&nbsp\\; I'm thinking about a Road Sofa seat and was wondering if any one had one and how you like it, my rear gets pretty sore after 10-12 hours on the road...

I want to know what kind of seat you have that your butt doesn't get sore until you have ridden&nbsp\\;10 - 12 hours?&nbsp\\; That&nbsp\\;must be a pretty nice seat.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
I have a Streetglide with a Roadglide seat and I am pretty sore after a couple hours.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I want to get a touring seat but I haven't found a whole lot of used 2008 seats and Harley doesn't make a Sundowner yet for the 2008 models.

&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;I got a Road Sofa that I had on my 2002 UltraGlide. Put about 35,000 mi on it and almost always went tank to tank when on a trip.
&nbsp\\;I would have it on my RoadGlide now but it doesn't fit the 08s so ended up going with the Mustang 2 piece seat. The Road Sofa was a better seat as far as comfort goes and long wearing. I had the grey velour and it still doesn't show any wear.
&nbsp\\;One of these days I'm going to have to get rid of it as its just gathering dust in the garage.

&nbsp\\; I got a sundowner for my FLHX 08 back in Janurary, a big difference in the ride with the sundowner compared to the stock bar hopper seat.

&nbsp\\; I have a stock seat off an '07 Ultra Classic,Which is a Comfort stitch seat..Its got about 25k on it and I think the front foam has been sat on a few too many times.

&nbsp\\; But the passenger pillion is way narrow compared to some of the others,I put one on once and the wife hated it.

HAD MINE SINCE&nbsp\\; 1999...ITS NOW ON MY 03&nbsp\\; UG.. LOVE IT.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I&nbsp\\; COULDNT&nbsp\\; FIND A BETTER SEAT&nbsp\\; FOR THE $$ OR THE COMFORDT.&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;AND&nbsp\\; 20%&nbsp\\; OFF VIA&nbsp\\; CHIC&nbsp\\; HD...&nbsp\\;IT WAS&nbsp\\; CHEAP IN COMPARISON TO OTHERS.
&nbsp\\;I&nbsp\\; HIGHLY&nbsp\\; RECOMMEND&nbsp\\; THIS&nbsp\\; SEAT.

Casper: Will your Road Sofa fit an 07 Ultra? If it would and you decide to sell it please send me an email.

+1

I LOVED the Sundowner, but it sucked for the wife. Not only narrow, but not very deep front to back. On the 08 versions, they made the passenger section wider, but of course I don't ride an 08 bike. Dammit!
