Default New DIPSTICK Review

Got the new LCD Digital oil temp/oil level dipstick a while ago. You get the oil temperatue and oil level with the simple push of a button. Especially like the oil level feature and it is accurate. Super easy to check the oil level any time you stop. Paid $107, another cool gadget, that rocks. I took a pic, but the close-up was blurry cause I was in a hurry!

Where did you get it at? Local dealer knows nothing about them.

I hope their new LCD dipstick temp/level combo is made better than their current softail LCD dipstick. I went through three in one year, finally gave up and went back to stock.
First one got oil up in the display then would just light up with no readout, second and third just stopped working. Tried changing batteries but made no difference.
Good luck.

The new dipstick has been re-engineered. HD Part #62946-05.

I know, I just hope by re-engineered they mean it won't fail like the softail version does.

Quite a few HDF members have purchased them and so far so good, would like to hear from everyone who has purchased them in a few months to see how they hold up.
