Opinions on Frogg Togg rain gear?

RE: Opinions on Frogg Togg rain gear?
I think the Frogg Toggs are great, when I ride my Gold Wing trike (mabye I should not say that on this forum!) However, they are no good on my Harley! The will melt when they touch the hot pipes. That is the primary reason why I did not have my Harley triked. I pastor a church so I have to dress in sport or business suits, and my bike (wing) is my everyday ride. Get the Gore Tex from Harley. The best! I ride my Harley after hours and on Saturdays and love it! \\; Halfbreed

I use Frog toggs and like them very much. They are breatheable, light weight, and fairly inexpensive. DON'T get them close to the pipes or they will melt! That's the only problem with them that I see.

I have 'em. \\; There ok I guess. \\; I think I will eventually buy something else. \\; Breathable-I can't tell it. \\; They always seem hot to me. \\; They seem kinda hard to get on and off too. \\; There ok for emergencies, which is the only time I ride in the rain-ya know if I just can't wait it out. \\; I would recomend that you buy something better.

RE: Opinions on Frogg Togg rain gear?
I have had several differnt types of rain gear from dirt cheap PVC crap to my current more expensive HD goretex, Frogg toggs included, and the best I have ever had was the HD stuff. THe problem with most is in the legs, melting to the pipes, flapping in the wind, ripping in the wind. If you are an all weather rider don't cheap out, buy the good stuff, but if you are getting them just in case you get caught and try to avoid rain at all costs then why not spend $20 on a stearns PVC suit from Gander Mtn or something like that. \\;
