Default Removing Stock Seat Bolts

Does anyone know how to remove the stock seat bolts that come up through the rear fender?&nbsp\\; I am not sure if they are simply held on by the white plastic washers or if you have to go under the fender to remove.&nbsp\\; I am in the process of putting a badlander seat on instead of the stock one.&nbsp\\; Your help is appreciated.

Does that mean that pulling the washers and pushing the bolts down will compromise the rear wiring harness?&nbsp\\; Do I need to drop the rear wheel and take a look at it or is it something simple?

the harness may drop down and rub. if you have a stand lift bike and shine a lite at front of the wheel to see the harness tube. you may need to drop the rear shock bolts for a good view. also you shouldnt need to remove them for the seat . it goes rite over them

Not removing the seat bolts at all would be ideal as I may want to switch back and forth between seats depending on the riding I am doing.&nbsp\\; Are you sure that the Badlander seat will fit over the bolts without removing?

I have done the same. I suggest for safety you remove the rear tire go get a good view and access to the harness. After you remove the seat bolts, caulk and duct tape will hold the harness in place to the inner side of the fender. Re install tire.

I think that badlander will fit right over the top of those bolts.&nbsp\\; My Corbin Stinger, and Corbin Dual Tourer do.&nbsp\\; I'd try that BEFORE pulling the wheel.
