Default Vance and Hines Pro Pipe

I have an 04 RK Custom that I'm going to upgrade the exhaust on. Does anyone have the Vance and Hines Pro Pipe 2 into 1? Any feelings one way or another about it?

It's something of a personal taste, I prefer the looks of duels on a bagger, for perfomance the 2 into 1 is a little better down low to mid range, but I'll stick with my Rineharts, I love the sound, looks and performance of them.

I had the V&H Propipe on my Indian and it ****ing rocked, good sound not to loud until you cracked it open and then a real mean howl for sure and it also had the best dyno numbers of the three peipes I tried. I went with the Rhineharts on my 05 Glide though the duals look right on a bagger to me and they sound super sweet as well. Either way you will be happy

I prefer the dual look on my RK but the 2 into 1 pipe gives better performance out of the box. It comes down to personal taste as well as performance issue. I'm currently looking to upgrade to a true dual system for my RK.

You just need to decide of you want performance or looks. The Vance and Hines systems no matter what one you go with, will increase performace, but the 2 into 1 propipe is a big gain right out of the box. Couple that with the right breather and ECM or powercommander and you will make nice horsepower gains. They look good on baggers and softails, but I like the duals of a bagger. Look into the Vance and Hines Oval Slip-ons and you might change your mind about 2 into 1 exhausts. Good luck.

I'm installing the Vance & Hines Oval Slip-ons to my new Road King Custom. I have to say that they sure look good and sound very nice. It was a call between the 2 into 1 Vance & Hines and the Rineharts. With the ovals you still get a nice increase in overall horsepower, just not as much as the two above mentioned sets. You also save quit a bit of money after the fact.

It's almost like closing your eyes and pointing. You can't go wrong any way.

they say that 2 into 1 system is great, but a bagger with single exhaust......should be a law against it!
