Must \\;be a lot of stupid people out there then. Try looking a little closer at the pictures. \\; If you are that far over in your lean angle you better expect problems. \\; It sure did not help that he was doing "the wave". More occupied looking "cool" than making the turn. \\; There is not much of a problem riding out a lowside unless you jerk the bike. Just look at how the bike continued to track around the corner. the "wannabe' off'd the bike not the other way around. Dumb **** "RUB wannabe" probably went home and had the wife tell him he was selling the bike or no more nookie.
 \\;
Keep your criticisms to yourself. I'm asking for personal experiences from people who have lowered their bikes, not subjectibve opinions \\;from people who obviously haven't. Read the text. \\;The bike is already lowered so how can I not lower it?

i have a different suggestion for you. take your 12" shocks and remove the air valve. put them upside down in a press and compress shocks fully removing the 5 wt oil. then spin the shocks and extend them adding 7.5 /10 synthetic shock oil. this will increase the damping effect of the shocks allowing you to run this angled setup without bottoming. there is another thread here that a fellow did with great results. total cost 12 $ for oil and about 2 hrs labor and beer! the 5 wt oil is to light and allows shocks to bottom. hope this helps

Thanks Blue. I added more air (using SG chart instead of the EG chart in the manual \\;now) and it definitely helps and its not bottoming out nearly as bad, but yours seems to be a better final result. \\; I'll pull \\;them apart as soon as get oil. I have a buddy at Penske Racing down in NC and he used to work in the racing shock division on the World of Outlaws circuit a few years back.. To be honest he said straight out that the shocks could definitely be retuned and that would help. \\; How much he wasn't sure. He said to ask around and see if anyone else would have a mechanical solution.
 \\;
Thanks again Blue for the positive advise.
