Sounds like a great color combo!! Cannot wait to see it, also wonder if they are doing a similar color combo on the POSE bikes... although black and babyblue doesnt sound as cool as the FFSE colors!

Good luck post pics when you get yours in.

Ok my dealer still does not have any pictures of this bike! They offered to "order" the bike for me and I laughed, telling them that I was not about to buy something I haven't even seen. Can anyone post them or email me a pic? Dying to see this bike.

Thanks.

On a simlar note, do any of you good folks know if a retired fire fighter can qualify for the FF Edition models, or do you still have to be active duty?

Thanks!

It does not really specify if you have to be active only says you have to have a ID card and fill out a form. Maybe if you have a retired ID you can get one!
Good Luck!

I would bet any dealer would work with you on getting one as a retired FF. If not let me know. I have a very good dealer here in Wisconsin that I would be would be willing to help you get one. I would be more than happy to check for you.

Thanks T! I'm not quite ready to buy yet but this is something I've been wondering about. So far, I haven't had much luck getting a straight answer.

They offered an EGC FF and POSE in 2005 (I have one). You need to shop carefully as some dealers offer NO discount, and some discount heavily. Its really as simple as calling some local dealers and asking them for an out the door price on a black, Ultra, Firefighter edition...or whatever. It should be at least 2K below MSRP.
