The lower end power you may lose nothing noticable.

If you plan on doing any engine up grades like Big Bore, cams, or heads work it's very noticable wilh true duals. It's a proven fact. Wake up!!!! I know it's hard to take in, but really dude it's true.

You should go with what you like best. On a stock 88 the difference between a 2 into 1 or a true dual will not be enough to really make any significant difference. I like the look and sound of the 2 into 1 on my street glide, I had true duals on my road king.

D&D FatCats, remove the heat shields, wrap the pipes in black header tape, spray with silicone sealer, reinstall the heat shields. You get power, torque, awesome sound, and minimal heat radiation. Factory ECM with a power commander makes this a winner. What a combo on a 2006 FLHRCI!

I, for one like the 2 into 1 setup and the extra performance. In the Style of the STREET GLIDE where everybody is looking for the LESS is MORE look the CLEAN left side of the bike appeals to me and is very much in keeping with the LESS is MORE style.....hdman
